MINISTER MBALULA MET WITH NEW SANTACO LEADERSHIP

The Minister of Transport, Mr. Fikile Mbalula has on Thursday,07 July 2022 met with the leadership of the South African National Taxi Association (SANTACO) led by their President, Mr Abner Tsebe for introductory engagement following its Elective Conference in May.

Minister of Transport spokesperson Lwazi Khoza says SANTACO, through its President raised critical industry issues that require the attention of the department and pledged continued collegiality between themselves and government on projects and programmes already being implemented.

Minister Mbalula says SANTACO raised critical issues concerning the industry. These are issues they are already working on together and they both acknowledge that more needs to be done. The new leadership is resolute and has a clear mandate that will ensure SANTACO plays an active role as an industry representative body.
