Arsenal rejected a bid offer of £29.5m from Saudi’s Club
1 min readArsenal have decided decline amount of £29.5million to keep Leandro Trossard who attracted interest from Saudi Pro League giants Al Ittihad.
Even though the transfer window in England and Scotland already closed but clubs from Saudi Arabia can still negotiate or sign players.
If it happens that they lose the service of Belgian international star, Arteta’s side will have to wait until the next transfer window to fill the void left by Leandro Trossard.
According to The Athletic, the Saudi Pro League side made a preliminary offer for a season-long loan, including a fee of £4.2m with an obligation to buy next summer for a price between £16-£21m (€20-25m).
News that are making trands is that Arsenal made it clear the 29-year-old is not available on the market despite how much price is, as he remains a key part of Mikel Arteta’s squad.
Arsenal secured the service of Leandro Trossard from Brighton and Holve Albion in January 2023 in a deal worth £27million and already set a record of 19 goals and 12 assists from 71 appearances.
Had Arsenal agreed to sell Trossard agreed to the Saudi’s side, he would’ve been adding to the list such as Karim Benzema, Moussa Diaby and N’Golo Kante who represent Saudi side Al-Ittihad.
