Cape Town City keeper believes his side have what it takes to match Orlando Pirates

The former Bidvest Wits mind stopper Darren Keet, emphasized that they need to score few goals at home before the return leg at Orlando Stadium.
City will host Orlando Pirates first in the staged two leg fixture of MTN8 wafa wafa on Tuesday at DHL Stadium kickoff is set 19h00.
The Citizens booked their place on the Semifinals of MTN8 after defeating Sekhukhune United by 1-0 at New Peter Mokoba Stadium.
Pirates booked their place after defeating Supersport United at the Orlando Stadium by a score line of 3-1 after extra time.
Keet emphasized that they need to focus on the task and ensures that they score few goals before they heading into second leg at Orlando.
Keet said “Playing at home first, the most important thing is to get a couple of goals and to keep a clean sheet to take away to Orlando.
“It’s always going to be a hell of a task but we’re prepared for it. We’ve got a stable defence, we’ve got a stable team at the moment and there’s no reason we shouldn’t be able to do it.
“Clean sheets are always vitally important for keepers and for the rest of the team.”
Keet highlighted that most of the players are already motivated and he is pleased by the addition of the new signing and he believes they bolster their squad during summer transfer window.
He said “I don’t think we need extra motivation. I think the magnitude of the game in itself is an occasion, usually it [City’s meetings with Pirates] is a spectacle and we are just happy to have a chance to have a go at them.
“We’ve been working hard, we’ve had a long preseason, so it will be an interesting game but we’re well-prepared for it.
“A semifinal is a motivation itself to get to the final, it doesn’t matter who we come up against. We’ve put together a decent squad this season, so we are looking forward to the games against Pirates and the season ahead.”
