2 min readThe former German side Dortmond product Jude Bellingham joined Madrid two season ago.
The club realesed statement that confirms that the player will be diagnosed with an injury in the plantaris muscle.
Madrid wrote “After tests carried out today by Real Madrid’s medical services on our player Jude Bellingham, he has been diagnosed with an injury in the plantaris muscle in his right leg.
England midfielder Bellingham last season scored 19 league goals for Madrid and produced a man-of-the-match performance in their first trophy win this campaign, beating Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup last week.
After securing the service of French captain Kylen Mbappe, Madrid will be a team to watch ahead of 2024/2025 across all the competition.
Earlier on Friday during news conference Carlo Ancelotti said “[Bellingham] got a knock, We’re evaluating it.”.
Ancelotti went on to emphasize that they lacked balance and that should be something that needs the attention as soon as possible.
He said “It was quite clear in terms of the evaluation, We lacked balance at times and we have to work on that. It isn’t too complicated. When the problem is clear, there’s a clear solution.”
He also didn’t confirm or agrees that he had a tough decision to made in to fitting Mbappe and Rodrygo into his team.
Ancelotti said “[Rodrygo] told me he’s very happy here, He’s working hard, he’s been one of the best in these games, so there’s no problem with him.”.
