Former Sundowns attacking midfielder reveals that didn’t enjoy himself

The former Mamelodi Sundowns player-maker Keletso Makgalwa explained what resulted to him ended up leaving the Tshwane giant.

Makgalwa was promoted back in 2017/18 season under the former coach Pitso Mosimane.

After being promoted from development side he went on to play for different clubs on loan until he was released last season.

This year the Sundowns academy product signed with Babina noko where he played almost all fixture with Limpopo’s based side including all CAF fixtures.

Makgalwa said “I wouldn’t say I was complaining about the mentality back then. But I think after Pitso [Mosimane] left, everything just changed because he was the one taking care of me.

“He was making sure I ate well, and I lived a healthy life. So yeah, I think that’s where I lost it. But I think now I am back, and I am ready to fight.

“I was also struggling with injuries at Sundowns. That’s where the problem was as well. Every time I was ready to play, something happened, and it was always difficult for me.”

Makgalwa went on to emphasized that he is happy with his current display and he hopes to get a shot under Broos side.

He said “To me, I believe I have so many things to offer, especially in South African football, internationally, and even in Bafana. I think I am capable of doing good.”

Lehlohonolo Seema together with his troops will again play their competitive fixture on 26 October against Royal Am. Kickoff is scheduled for 20:00.
