Kaizer Chiefs new defender revealed the reason why he will donor the new number

Inacio Miguel was spotted wearing Jersey number 83 during the team’s session, the number that was donor by the former Supersport United defender Morgan Gould.
The former Petro de Luanda defender now revealed the reason why he opted to change the jersey number as he honor his grandmother who passed away.
Inacio said “I know people saw 83 on the jersey, it was a misunderstanding, I chose 84, as I told in the last interview, it was a testimony for my grandmother, that unfortunately, she passed away last year at 84 years old.
“She was the one who raised me and I decided to make this honour, to wear the 84 number because she will be with me all my life and yeah it’s basically a testimony for her.
“The first day I arrived I made a tour of the village and of course, it’s a massive club, a huge club in the country, well recognised, I just have to adapt and perform as a professional, inside and outside of the club.
“I think the most important thing is to receive the love the fans give us and try to respond with the daily work, that’s the most important thing.”
Kaizer Chiefs will kickoff the new campaign over the weekend where they will be facing newly promoted side Magesi FC.
