NSOATREMAN YOUNG STAR SAYS THEY ARE RAEDY FOR CAF CONFEDERATION CUP

For the first time in the club history, the Nsoatre-based will be taking part in the CAF inter competition (CAF Confederation Cup) after they won their first-ever trophy.

They finished the season as the champions of Ghana FA Cup to wrap-up the season in style by defeating their compatriot Bofoakwa Tano. Nsoatreman they come back from1-0 to equalize, forcing the game to be decided by penalty shoot-out. The Nsoatreman club eventually won the game by 5-4 at Coronation Park (Sunyani) stadium that carries the capacity of 5000.

The 16-year-old Apetorgbor Foster played a crucial role to help his outfit to clinch the title. He scored the winning penalty in the much anticipated clash. Speaking to the Radio station Kessben FM, Apetorgbor mentioned that his team-mate are ready to swim with big sharks in the Africa Campaign.

Foster said ” We are prepared for the journey and face other teams from Africa. We know we will be flying in other part of Africa and I can assure the citizen of Ghana that we are ready for it (to face the task).”

The 16-year-old who is set to complete his matric this year at Kumasi High School showed glance of good performances in the recently concluded season despite the challenges of balancing school and sports. The talented player who joined the Nsoatre-based club during the January transfer window made 17 appearances for the club.

During the previous concluded season, Apetorgbor managed to walk away with the accolade of player of the match on two occasion. Under the good guidance he can become one of the world-class player and if he manage to maintains his current work ethics.
