1 min readSouth Africa UFC boxer Dricus du Plessis will be defending his title over the weekend where he will face Israel Adesanya.
The fight will be one the toughest amongst the both fighters and will mark the memory for South African boxer as well as fans of du Plessis.
Orlando Pirates Football Club published on their club Facebook page where they were relying behind SA boxer.
Amongst the players who took their time to wish all the best to fellow citizen is Tshegofatso Mabasa, Thalente Mbatha and Miguel Timm together with Sipho Chaine.
Mabasa said “On behalf of Orlando Pirates Football Club, we would like to wish du Plessis the best on fight against Adesanya.”
Mbatha said “Good luck to Dricus du Plessis on the weekend against Israel Adesanya for his fight, thank you.”

The first time when this two boxer fight it was for UFC 290 in July 2023 in Perth, Australia on Saturday.
The boxers were expected to fight two months later, but Du Plessis’ inability to recover, afforded Strickland to defeat Adesanya to become champion.
