Orlando Pirates with partnership with Nedbank visited school in soweto
2 min readAs they been known as the team that gives back and changes the life of black child Ezimnyama visited Job Rathebe Junior School yesterday. During their visit the Buccaneers Orlando have handover of the multi-purpose sports court equipment such as soccer balls etc.
The captain of the team Innocent Maela revealed that they are inspired to do more after their handover.
He said “It’s a special feeling you know… uhh… be on our side, it’s an amazing feeling when we achieve certain things it goes beyond not only for ourselves but for the children.
“Uhmm it benefit the community, soo it’s a special for players perspective but yeah you know it inspire us to be more because if we could win more and more we get back to such community and I believe more and more children will be helped and it’s amazing for me.
“It shows how big institutions is, you know in chance for capital city right… it take us that our football career are not owned in the favour of play but it shows that we have responsibility to play on the field.
“And for us like I said you know it means a lot special, it’s very inspiring uhhh… to know Ukuthi Umsebenzi ukuphemelele wabo uyaoba eni.
“I think going back to the team, I think boys will be even more encouraged for improvement to go on and try to achieve more and more so that we can come back here as we have promised.”
Orlando Pirates next fixture will be on 14th September where they will face Botswana giants Jwaneng Galaxy for CAF Champions League second preliminary round of First leg.
