POLOKWANE WATER SUPPLY AFFECTED

Polokwane Municipality has earlier today received communication from Lapelle Northern Water (LNW) following the water supply stoppage from the Olifantspoort scheme line and pipe burst in the City.

The water utility says the scheme is off due to two pipe bursts on the main line affecting all supply areas from Ga-Chuene to Polokwane and Seshego.

Furthermore, LNW has estimated Eight (8) hours until repairs are completed and Water supply to all affected areas within Polokwane Municipality shall be restored once Lepelle Northern Water has completed
repairs.

Meanwhile, the Annadale area (Ladanna) is experiencing water shortage while Sterpark is experiencing low pressure in water supply due to a pipe burst at corner of Potgieter Avenue and Diemeer Street in Polokwane.
