2 min readPolokwane City FC coach Phuti Mohafe revealed why club doesn’t sell Oswin Appollis and Thabang Matuludi in the current transfer window period.
Appollis established himself as a key player for the national team and he is expected to ship out during the current transfer window.

According to several media publication, Algerian Champions MC Alger are reported to have acquired the service of the 22-year-old. Matuludi on the other hand, has attracted interest from PSL clubs. But Mohafe highlighted that two players can’t leave during the same transfer window.
During the launch of Betway Polokwane City coach pointed out that people should says he is selfish as that might affect the rhythm of the club.
Mohafe said “I just want to be selfish and say, you can not take Appollis and you also take Matuludi because now you are breaking the chain, my man.”
Even though he didn’t revealed the name of the club that is pushing for the service of Appollis, but he confirmed that negotiations for the exit of Appollis are at an advanced stage.
Mohafe said “I think it’s in the final stages where he stays or he goes. But I think it’s in the final stages.”
After acquiring the service of three players, coach highlighted that they might bring new signing but not on the current transfer window rather on January.
He said “You can not be satisfied even if you have millions; you can’t be satisfied. The players that we have from last season are still there.
“The players that put us at number eight are still there. That is why we have brought in players that we are going to train to fit well in the club.”
Last season Polokwane City managed to finished inside top8 where they occupied 7th spot during their first come back to the South African top elite(flight).
