Royal AM COO promise top 8 at the end of current campaign
2 min readRoyal AM COO Sinky Mnisi promised to change the fortune of the club during his return, even though Thwii thwahla are currently under the sanctioned by FIFA. The sanction to the club was made back in July 2023 after the club failed to pay Samir Nurkovic and Nascimento.
During the previous campaign Mamkhize’s side managed to secure their status after finishing on 13th spot and ten points above relegated side Cape Town Spurs.
After being re appointed by the club Sinky Mnisi re assured the club’s owners and fans to help the team to secure top 8 spot.
He said “I’m not going to say much but one thing I can say I’m here, I’m back and we are going to the top eight.
“That’s what I want to say now, period. I’ll have a proper press conference where I will inform everyone what are the plans for this team.
“There are good players here, that’s all, good players.”
After the re-appointment of Mnisi, head coach John Maduka was soo impressed by the decision taken by the management.
Manuka said “It’s good to have a veteran that’s Mnisi, back to the team. He’s been in the game for a long, long time so to have him back in the team is a bonus for us.
“We are very happy to have him in the team and we know that he’s a very professional man. There are so many things that he will help the team with going forward.
“So, we are very happy to have him back.”
After Mnisi’s return to the club, they have managed to collect one point over the weekend after their draw against Cape Town City at Harry Gwala Stadium.
