After securing their ticket at CAF Champions League over the weekend, Bafana ba Style tactician want continuity from his side.
Mamelodi Sundowns defeated Eswatine side Mbabane Swallows by 8-0 on agreegate to reach group stages.
On the second leg of CAF Mngqithi made a lot of changes into his squad that played against their arch rivals Supersport United.
After the match coach Mngqithi emphasized that winning a match with a huge margin gives players confidence.
He said “It’s always nice to win and to score many goals because it brings confidence in the group, but the most important thing for me is that it brings a lot of competition in the team.
Mngqithi decided to hand franch players game time such as Rushine de Reuck, Thembi Lorch and Kobamelo Kodisang.
He also emphasized that he was impressed by the way his franch players managed to score goals.
Mngqithi said “I thought we should have scored more than four again. I’m happy that the team is starting to score because my main aim was to see this team score more goals, and we are heading in the right direction.”
Sundowns will face Marumo Gallants today (Tuesday) before facing Kaizer Chiefs on the weekend and Mngqithi hopes his troops can continue where they left off during the CAF.
