MUSICIAN CHICCO TWALA CHARGED FOR ALLEGED ATTACK OF A CITY POWER EMPLOYEE

Musician Ernest “Chicco” Twala appeared at the Randburg Magistrate’s Court, facing charges of pointing something that resembles a firearm and common assault.
The alleged incident took place at Bloubosrand on 01 May 2022 when two City Power technicians attended to a call of power outage in the area. On the arrival the technicians had to switch off the power and that is when Twala allegedly charged at one of them, strangled him and pointed him with what resembles a firearm.
Twala was released on R2000 bail and will return to court on 26 August 2022 as the case was postponed for further investigations.
