1 min readThe Ministry of Police has congratulated the South African Police Service (SAPS) investigators who put together a solid case, that left the courts with no choice but to convict Ntuthuko Shoba of premeditated murder of his heavily pregnant girlfriend, Tshegofatso Pule.
Acting Judge Stewart Wilson on Friday 25 March 2022, told the court that he was satisfied the State proved its case beyond reasonable and doubt found Shoba guilty of premeditated murder.
Police Minister General Bheki Cele has congratulated the detectives who worked on this case, saying this conviction must serve as a reminder for all police officers to always prioritise GBVF. Cele says police investigations have ensured that all bases were covered and a water tight case was presented before the courts.
He concluded that the next step is for the courts to hand this heartless man an appropriate sentence that they hope, can bring some comfort and justice to the Pule family.
