Hossam Hassan together with his troops had a good start into AFCON Qualifiers after defeating Botswana by 4-0 on Friday and Cape Verde by 3-0.

The Pharaoh’s are currently enjoying the fine form as they are currently occupying first spot on Group C.

They are paired with other nations such as Cape Verde, Mauritian and Botswana and out of 2 games they managed to score seven(7) goals while keeping clean sheet.

During the press conference Hossam Hassan highlighted that he did proper analysis of how their opponents functions.

He said “I knew the game against Botswana wouldn’t be easy. I studied their previous games and was aware of their high motivation and energy.

“The team implemented the strategy I wanted on the field, which helped us control the game and neutralize Botswana’s strengths.”

Hassan went on to reveal that they can’t be too much excited despite their two consecutive victory.

He said “We’ve had a great start, but what’s coming is more important. There are no easy games in Africa, as the gaps between teams are not wide.”

Hossam Hassan together with his troops just need one victory from their remaining next four fixture to secure their tickets for 2025 AFCON that will be held in Morocco.
