Ghanaian international star make permanent move to Leicester City

The Premier League club Leicester City has announce the finalized deal of young star Abdul Fatawu from Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon.

It will not be the first time for the Ghanaian young star traveling to England to further up his playing career at Europe as he spent previous season on the color of The Foxes. Fatawu made 43 appearances and scored seven goals last season for the City which includes three goals(Hat-Trick) against Southampton.

At the age of 20, Fatawu made a name for himself during his loan spell at King Power Stadium, where he managed to help the club to make history once again as they have won the Sky Bet Championship title and secured the promotion back to the English Premier League(EPL) for the up-coming season of 2024/2025.

After being issued with the Premier League and International clearance Abdul Fatawu is ready to hit the ground running with Steve Cooper who has replaced Enzo Maresca on 20th June 2024 and they are hoping to remain in the EPL beyond the 2024/2025 campaign.

Fatawu expressed his excitement about retain their in the English Premier League for the upcoming season. Fatawu said ”I feel amazing. It’s so good to be back and I’m just ready to focus again for next season.”

Abdul Fatawu and his team-mate are busy pushing as they are preparing for their English Premier League opener match where they will be up against Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur on Monday 19th August 2024 at King Power Stadium.
