Ghanaian giants announce technical review before the 2024/2025

The Phobians endured a horrible campaign last term where they finished the season on 14th in the Ghana Premier League table and Ghana Premier League powerhouse Hearts of Oak is embarking on a review on their technical crew ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.

Ahead of the upcoming campaign the Ghanaian giants are aiming to be one of the best teams as they are busy taking the necessary steps to strengthen their side and make impact in the top flight and challenge for the local domestically cup.

Their number 14th position has ranged/clicked the panic button and make management to be aware of the struggle their team has faced in the previous season. Hearts of Oak went to the market to acquire the service of Centre back Asamoah Boateng Afriyie from Nations FC, Centre back Michael Mensah Awuah from Nations FC as well as Centre back Konadu Yiadom from Kryvbas in Ukraine while they have released Striker Kwadwo Obeng Junior who has not yet found a club.

During their preview, before the upcoming campaign, the Phobians management informed the fans that the team is looking too deep into what impacted their previous season and they are putting plans in order for the new season.

The board’s technical sub-committee has engaged with both Management and the Technical staff to evaluate performance, assess recruitment plans, and strategize for the upcoming 2024/25 season”

The technical review process involving individual player performance evaluation and recruitment plans is ongoing, and regular updates will be provided to fans and stakeholders.

The Phobians were afforded the opportunity to bring the faith to their fanbase during the Democracy Cup, but yet again they suffered their third straight defeat to rivals Asante Kotoko on Wednesday of 17th July 2024 evening. The Porcupine Warriors inflicted a Pain by 2-1 win over the Phobians at the Accra Sports Stadium to lift the inaugural Cup.
