OPERATION DUDULA LEADER FAILS TO APPEAR IN COURT

1 min read

Ntlantla Mohlauhi, also known as Nhlanhla Lux Dlamini, appeared in court for an assault case he absconded from back in 2019. This comes after a tenant who then was renting at his mother’s home filed a complaint with the South African Police Service in Meadowlands.

NPA Regional Spokesperson Phindi Mjonondwane says Mohlauhi appeared in court for the first time on the 9th September 2019 where a warning was issued for his release and the case was rescheduled, but due to his absence for his return on the 30th September 2019, the court held an inquiry into his failure to appear in court and a warrant was issued for his arrest the same day.

Following that, the court dealt with a common law criminal matter and he was found guilty and given a caution and discharged sentence.

A bail of R1000 was granted to him for a criminal case of common assault and postponed the case to the 3rd May 2022 for further investigation.
