SUNDOWNS GOALKEEPER TO DISCUSS HIS FUTURE WITH THE CLUB.

Ricardo Goss and his agent will hold talks with Bafana ba style Mamelodi Sundowns, over his future with concerns of his game time.

Goss’s two season loan spell with arch rivals SuperSport United, came to an end in June and he is expect to return at Chloorkop to start preparing for the new season with Sundowns. This is where he will be competing with the likes of Ronwen Williams, Denis Onyango, Reyaad Pieterse and Jody February who recently extended his contract with the football club.

Goss mentioned that he and his agent does not have any say in the decision to be made but he will be waiting for the respond from his parent club which is Mamelodi Sundowns. There is a possibility that he might seek a move back to SuperSport United on a loan again.

Goss said ”We will go to the table with my agent and discuss all the possibilities. Obviously that (a discussion with coach Rulani Mokoena) will see what happen when it’s communicated with us that, this is the day we are starting on,”

”At the end of the day, it is not up to me or my agent but It is up to the parent club to make that decision. I can try to get a loan deal back to SuperSport United, but it is up to the parent club.”

Sundowns still value Goss considering he is 30 years of age and could still have a lot of years left in the game as a goalkeeper. With Onyango heading closer to the end of his career, Goss is one of the shot stoppers Mamelodi Sundowns is looking to have for a while.
