Former England coach set to get new gig

Gareth Southgate handed in his resignation few days after their defeat during the Euro 2024 final against Spain.

The Three Lions reached the Euro final bact to back and lost once again, just like they did three years ago against Italy.

Southgate put a lot of work with England team but still failed help them lift a trophy which would have been their first silverware since the 1966 World Cup.

With England now assessing their opinion regarding candidates who will take over from Southgate, the 53-year-old is being lined up for a new job.

The media publication which is Daily Mail suggested that, the former Middlesbrough manager is being tipped to become a pundit for BBC for their famous show Match of the Day.

The report has mentioned that the BBC would face competition from ITV to secure his services.The BBC want to pair Southgate with host Gary Lineker on Match of the Day for the new season.
