Marumo Gallants coach spoke about their first opening game of 2024/2025 season

After spending the whole previous season without coaching the former TS Galaxy coach Dan Malesela has finally got a gig at Bahlabani ba Ntwa.

Malesela was one of the 14 head coaches who attended yesterday’s conference of PSL and Betway launch that was held at Randbarg headquarters of Multichoice.

After the conference PSL and Betway announced the opening fixtures for 2024/2025 campaign, that will be kick-off on 14th September 2024. After learning about their opponent(Kaizer Chiefs) Malesela revealed that they are ready and they are well prepared for the challenges.

Malesela said “Yah, I’ve uhmm… I’ve uhmm… I think it’s a blessing, you know for us, it’s a blessing ehhh because we…. we are now sure of opening our or launching our team ehhh in Bloemfontein on a full stadium.

“Laughing(hahaha)Yoh, I think that is blessing, just to welcome everybody and players. That stadium uhmm…. uhmm almost sure that it would be fully packed.

When asked about the history he made with the club and his ambitious regarding the new job with his new side then he Malesela noted that you must not dwell on history.

He said “Well,uhmm…. you know much as we appreciate history and.. and… and also we get inspiration from history but you must deal with a day as if you don’t know anything, soo we but what will you do is that we focus on ourselves and looked at what we can do and also take what we have trained and what we have been putting on the players and team, you know into the game.

“You know how things are going, I think we are not setting back, we are looking good.”
