Pirates revealed Jersy number for CAF

Orlando Pirates will start their 2024 CAF Champions League campaign over the weekend, were there will be some notable changes to the players jersey numbers compares to the number that will be used in the BETWAY Premiership.
The rules from Confederation of African Football are that teams are allowed registered 40 players and numbers at the back of players starts from 1-40. Orlando Pirates jersey numbers such as 10, 13 and 22 will be used in this season’s competition of Africa’s inter clubs.
Previously the number 10 jersey was don by Vincent Pule. But since Mashonisa left, the famous number 10 jersey has been vacated and will now don by a new player.
Reigning PSL Players Player of the Season Tito Maswanganyi who don number 28 jersey in the league, will take responsibility to wear number 10.
On the other hand Relebohile Mofokeng will change his number 38 and he will don number 3 in this year’s edition.
Other changes on jersey number will include the players who don higher jersey numbers above 40 in the season register and these players will don the numbers currently vacated by the unregistered squad players for this year’s competition.
