President of Ghanaian Football Association (GFA) highlighted importance of using u19 in all division

GFA President Simeon-Okraku during the celebration of the 30th Ordinary Congress made it public that that all clubs in ghana across all division must use U19 players.

The Occasion was held in Ghanaman Soccer center of Excellence, the president announced the new rules in the football industry in Ghana as way to improve and secure the future of their football.

Under those new rules Premier League teams are required to have a minimum number of four U19 players in their match squad day.

This policy is the commitment from GFA to ensure that young talent is natured and the young stars get opportunity to be exposed with tough challenges from football frightenity.

Decision one league clubs will be the ones that will have about six players who are under 19 in their squad rosters and three of them will be on the starting eleven.

Under division 2 all clubs will have Eight U19 players in their match day squad and four of them will be on the starting eleven.

During his speech the president of Ghanaian Football Association Simeon-Okraku highlighted that they want to have proper set up in their national team.

Okraku said “The future of Ghanaian Football lies in our ability to develop and nurture young talent.

“By giving this young talent to showcase their abilities at a competitive level, we are not only building the stronger teams but also securing the future of our national team.”

The new rule will abiding all the clubs across the country and the clubs are expected to draft the program of youth.

The GFA will monitor the situation with a hope that all teams will be complying with the new rule. This implementation will ensures that the progress between clubs and national team grow.
