SA athlete will participate on Thursday at Paris 2024 Paralympics

Shaun Anderson was busy with his preparations at the Montpellier Arc Club at Creps in Montpellier before his start later on today.

The athletes from South Africa at Paris 2024 Paralympics programme on Thursday, have secured three sports in different categories such as archery, para-swimming and the new code of boccia.

In the archery a three-time Paralympian Shaun Anderson will take part at men’s individual ranking and Boccia competitors will have Karabo Morapedi and Elanza Jordaan, both will be marking their debut at Paralympic competition.

Swimming nation will put their hopes on the shoulder of Nathan Hendricks and he is one of the best who can make it to the final of men’s 100m butterfly S13, depending on the outcome of his morning heats.

Under Boccia South Africa will be represented by Elanza Jordaan who will face Australian star Daniel Michel at 14h00 in Pool A.
